Bangkok, 25 June 2025 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is pleased to announce that Thailand has been named the Top Global Spa & Wellness Destination at the Hospitality Horizon Spa & Wellness Summit & Awards 2025, held on 14 June at Sofitel Mumbai BKC, India.
The award was accepted on behalf of TAT by Ms. Wipada Noipanich, Deputy Director, and Ms. Rosy Anthony, Marketing Officer, both from the TAT Mumbai Office. This recognition reaffirms Thailand’s leadership in global spa and wellness tourism, known for its integration of traditional healing practices, natural therapies, and consistently high standards of hospitality.
The Hospitality Horizon Spa & Wellness Summit 2025, held in conjunction with the Spa & Wellness Awards, convened spa and wellness professionals, thought leaders, and industry pioneers from across India. Structured as a half-day programme, the summit offered a forum for in-depth discussion on emerging trends, evolving consumer expectations, and sustainable practices shaping the future of the wellness sector.
The event concluded with a networking dinner and visits to accompanying exhibit stalls, fostering informal dialogue and potential collaboration among participants.
This accolade reinforces TAT’s commitment to promoting Thailand as a global centre for holistic wellness, therapeutic traditions, and premium wellness retreats.
