Due to ongoing heavy rainfall and resulting flooding across parts of Northern Thailand, several tourist attractions have been temporarily closed or impacted. Travellers are advised to check local conditions before visiting and to exercise caution when travelling through affected areas. The following update provides province-by-province details on closures and areas to monitor.

Nan
• Tourist attractions in Nan Municipality, including Wat Phumin, Wat Ming Mueang, Nan National Museum, and Wat Phra That Chang Kham Worawihan
• Wat Nong Bua, Tha Wang Pha District
• Wat Bun Yuen Phra Aram Luang, Wiang Sa District

Phrae
• Tourist attractions in Phrae Municipality have been affected

Phayao
• Kad Lai Ta and Wat Inthan, Mae Tam Subdistrict, Mueang District – the road behind the temple is flooded, making travel difficult
• Kwan Phayao Lake – water levels continue to rise
• Wat Nantaram and Wat Phra Chao Nang Din, Chiang Kham District
• Kad Chiang Kham Market

Uttaradit
• Phu Soi Dao National Park – tourism and accommodation services closed

Chiang Rai
• Phu Chi Fa and nearby mountains – roads may be slippery; some routes may be temporarily closed
• Chiang Rai Airport – flooding reported on some access roads, but traffic is still flowing normally
• Rai Ruen Rom, Thoeng District – closed until water levels recede
• Mae Fah Luang University Botanical Garden (80th Birthday Commemoration of His Majesty the King) – services suspended

Lampang
• Wat Phra Phutthabat Sutthawat (Wat Chalerm Phra Kiat), Chae Hom District – closed
• Chae Son National Park, Mueang Pan District – closed; sightseeing and swimming at Chae Son Waterfall and surrounding streams are not permitted

Lamphun
• Doi Khun Tan National Park, Mae Tha District – camping area closed from 23 to 25 July 2025

Mae Hong Son
• Tham Nam Lod Cave – closed
• Pam Bok Waterfall and Su Sa Waterfall – closed
